  • Always wanted to check this place out in downtown Madison, and we finally got here. Great place with excellent food choices and beer selections(all Wisconsin brewed by the way). Our waitress, Kayla was very friendly (even though she graduated from Ohio State😂)...we had a beer, their infamous cheese curds (they live up to the hype about them, for sure👍)..and my wife had a prime rib sandwich, while I chose the spicy burger...the food is exceptional. Highly recommend stopping by and checking out the “supper club” atmosphere.

  • The best part of the meal was the view of the Capitol building. The burger was overly greasy, the mac and cheese was gritty. And that was my second choice. I started with the beer cheese soup, order at 8 on a Saturday. They were out. One of their specialties, and it's out. Definitely not worth a 45 minute wait.. I won't be recommending this to anyone. Not even going to start about the waitress.

  • If I can tell you anything, it's worth the wait! The food, drinks and service are always amazing. A true Wisconsin classic. But be sure to manage your expectations about the wait - they don't take reservations (not complaining, just explaining). Just grab a couple of old fashioneds from their super friendly bartenders and kick back until it's your turn to enjoy the eats

  • Delicious cheese curds and by far the best I've ever had! You can definitely taste the hint of beer mixed in it. However, I was not a big fan of the wurst sandwich as it was plain and not much flavor. Nonetheless, it was a great place to eat and it had friendly service throughout the duration of my meal. I'll be trying the mac-n-cheese meal next time.

  • If you like very greasy, salty food, you will love this place. Even the mac and cheese only tasted like salt. It also was very greasy. Very disappointing. The server recommended the rib and pork combo. Ribs were tasty, but the fattiest ribs I have ever eaten. The other pork was what they use in their pork sandwiches. It was completely tasteless. All of us had stomach problems afterwards.
