  • This places is truly amazing. Or should I say it is heaven? The places serves hot chocolate with Churros and that is simply beyond belief. This is truly authentic. Remember this is a chocolate place first, so expect something that is beyond imagination fort hot chocolate!! Unbelievable...

  • Historic and nostalgic. Three different sections give you different feels and enjoyment. The terrace is open, lively and cheerful. The mist chilled me happily. The indoor cafe is where you see the busy pastry and drinks bar. The people looked contented when they ate and drank that delicious chocolate and curros. The basement is renovated like a train cabin and with strong air conditioning, so that you can fight off the heat and sweat to enjoy the food fully. Don't worry about the time and apetite for one visit to try all these, because you will go there again and again.

  • This place is almost always crowded, but for a good reason! The chocolate con churros or porras is to die for, and really great for sharing. The restaurant is great for grabbing a late night dessert and chatting with friends. The chocolate is very thick and rich, and I've never been disappointed by the service; the servers are very friendly and fun, and create a great atmosphere!

  • Worth a stop, there’s no doubt the churros and chocolate are delicious. If you don’t see a line out the door go in and seize the day. If you have multiple opportunities to go by and you do see a line I would wait. You order first and then get a table, you will be quickly corrected if you try to get a table first. Inside is small so expect to wait at peak times. Inside is like a diner with pictures of famous people who have visited. If you have the time to take a look while it’s not super busy it’s cool to see everyone who has stopped in.

  • Classic place and pretty touristy. Strangely enough the chocolate is more thin and runny than most out there in Spain, most people like the thick chocolate dipping, I like the less thick and dark one in San Gines. Try the take away option, around the corner, if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle. They have great chocolate truffles too!
