Corral De La Moreria - Review

They’ve been doing flamenco for 50 years and it shows – the performance is one of the best known in the world. This is what’s called the rich man’s flamenco, but it’s a good thing. The oldest flamenco restaurant in town is loacated in a fancy area, can seat one 150, gives an absolutely rousing experience and is interior decorated to play up every spine-tinglingly good cliché you might entertain about the flamenco. The best of the best of the best world artists perform here. It’s also listed as one of Madrid’s top sights or experiences.

Corral De La Moreria, Madrid Reviews

  • I only went for the show, not dinner, but the show is amazing!!! The dancers are phenomenal, the musicians are incredible, and the singers will blow you away. Although we didn’t include food with our reservation, we could smell from the other tables that it must’ve been delicious. We also spoke to some of those patrons, and they confirmed it was indeed a fantastic meal. I recommend this show/restaurant to anyone who may come to Madrid.

  • First, I must say that the show was phenomenal! Both performers, Olga Llorente and Juan Andres Maya were great. Maya is likely a professional dancer who highlighted the night with some interpretive dance. The singers and the band were wonderful. Watch the hands of the guitar players and take time to focus your ear on the violinist. ***This place would have received 5 stars had it not been for the treatment we received at the hands of the staff for what appeared to be no other reason other that we were tourists. If you don't speak Spanish or are not a local be aware you must have bullfighting in your veins to get a good seat at this flamenco show.

  • I'm not flamenco fan, but this was still a place I felt you need to visit when you are in Madrid. The food we had was good, and the show was interesting. My girlfriend did really enjoy the performance of the singers and dancers. The cocktails we had tasted good and I really liked the cheese board. While inside you are not supposed to take photos, but a lot of people did not respect that.

  • Definitely recommend going here to see a flamenco show. You could feel the passion in every single person involved. Very talented dancers, singers and instrumentalists. The staff were incredible as they still served food and drinks around us but did not get in the way of the show once. Great way to experience some Spanish culture.

  • The best place ever. The performance is awesome. Dancers, singers, musicians leave their soul on stage. The food is spectacular and service is so warm and personalized. This is a must when you visit Madrid
