Iglesia De San Andres - Review
Constructed around the mid 17th century, the Iglesia de San Andres stands on the grounds of an early church believed to date back to the 12th century!
Legend goes that San Isidro was buried in the cemetery at the foot of the early church of San Andrés until 1212. King Alfonso VIII , who saw the body recognized him as the shepherd who had guided him in the battle of Navas de Tolosa.
The present day church was restored after the 1936 fire and restored to combine with the Capilla del Obispo. Today the church is one of the most exquisitely embellished churches with its mail alter being an iconic attraction in the city.

Looks good at night
The Church of San Andres was built in the seventeenth century, in a fully baroque style, to house the relics of San's body Isidro. In the Church of San Andrés we can identify some rocks already known: 9 the columns and ashlars of granite, 9 religious images carved in limestone, 9 the pavement around the Church formed by basalt, granite and limestone.
is in the almedro street n 10 its facade is built of slate if you look we can see roks oxidated
good location, very close to the most important things. the rooms are not very big, but the size is just enough for you if you are a tourist.
