About Matadero Madrid, Madrid
Matadero Madrid was formerly operational as a slaughter house till 1996 and was transformed to an Arts centre later. Today, the place showcases some of the bestcontemporary art in the city and is a major hub for art lovers. The place also arranges trainings and workshops.
The architecture of the building itself is loved for its Neo-Mudéjar (Moorish Revival) features and influences with beautiful facades, horse-shoe arches and abstract tiling.

Such a nice and interesting proposal to hold different art disciplines in an awesome rehabilitated old building
Spectacular former slaughterhouse converted into a cultural center - includes a cafe and a restaurant - thumbs up!
Great spot for everything, cultural initiatives, food courts, concerts, kids playground. Check the website to know what's going on at a time. Very trendy too and love the outdoor activities there
Excelent place to enjoy an afternoon, free expositions, food and it is very close to MadridRio
