North of the Royal Palace, this excellent English rose garden is famed for its roses, and annual flower show and competition. A crazy attraction here, just south of the roses is an authentic Egyptian temple, one that was reconstructed atop the hill. The park has seen some blood too – rebels dies here, and were buried here in the 19th century. The Fuente de Juan de Villanueva is the city’s tallest fountain. You’ll even find a strage looking monument to the painter Goya. It makes for an excellent stroll or run.

Parque Del Oeste, Madrid Reviews - Write a Review
Must visit park when in Madrid... Huge park .. can spend entire afternoon roaming and soaking in nature's gift.. Lots of trees... It's a walk in man made attempt to preserve nature.
Really nice walk, Templo de Debod makes the place quite interesting but the best part is the view on the palace. If you want you can also go on to cable car if you have some spare time. All in all an enjoyable place but there are many more interesting therefore 4 stars.
Parque del Oeste is a gem in Madrid. Located in the northwest side of the city, this is a fantastic park to walk, read, and relax. The park has beautiful hills and lush green lawns. It also has ponds, small cascades, and cool sculptures. If you’re around Moncloa, I highly recommend to come visit it!
Absolutely amazing place especially at sunset the views of Madrid are stunning and the Egyptian temple is well worth queuing for
A typical park, but large one. Try two things - Templo Debod, and Teleferico over Madrid.
