About Parque La Quinta De Los Molinos, Madrid
Have you ever heard of an almond blossom?
Madrid isn’t exactly famous for its parks, so the city really appreciates the few that it has. And even then, this enchanting little gem of a park gets missed out frequently in favour of bigger and more famous parks around the city. Its tragic – the Mediterranean style of the park is unique, and walking through it reveal surprising sights that delight and enchant. To begin with, the 25 hectares of eucalyptus, pine and olive are fill the air with a refreshing scent. A paved trail makes for a wonderful walk among them. There is a garden, a small mansion and a pond clustered together. There are two American mills for irrigating the garden and a greenhouse.
The final surprise of this tranquil treasure is seasonal. In March, the park’s 1500 almond trees all bloom in pink, and suddenly, the scene there is as pretty as a scene out of a Disney movie.

This is such a beautiful place in the middle of Madrid. Once inside the garden you would never know you were in the middle of a city. There are beautiful trees and birds along with small lakes and fountains. If you are looking for somewhere to take a nice afternoon stroll or a good place to go jogging this is the spot!
Beautiful park in the north-east of Madrid. The park has lovely walkways and luscious patches of greenery. Its trees are immense! Perfect place to picnic, read a book, bring your children to play, or just go for a nice Sunday stroll.
A hidden jewel in Madrid. I recommend for a walk in the early hours of the morning
Quiet and not as crowed as Retiro Park. Particularly good for the cherry blossom.
Good park in the middle of the city. Probably better in autumn.
