While food is not free, there are plenty of places to eat in Madrid that offers decent food choice without many expenses. The street sides of nearly all the plaza and squares have plenty to see and devour. Ensure to check out the El Rastro- the oldest flea market and take a souvenir with you back home.

December in Madrid means two things- winters and Christmas, both of which are things to celebrate. It won't be wrong to say that Madrid in or near winters means celebrations.
