Zoo Aquarium De Madrid - Review
6000 animals covering 500 species! Considering that they’re all so exotic, they’re all celebrities really, but some are more so than others (sorry, but sexless giant pandas will always win out, even if they do no king-fu whatsoever). The dolphins, koalas and primates (Western Lowland Gorillas, Common chimpanzees, Mandrills, Mantled guerezas, Orangutans and several species of Lemurs) compete heavily for attention though. The animals are from everywhere. Activities include boat tours and train tours! The complete facilities cover the zoo, the petting zoo (they let you get personal with the Pandas), the aviary and the dolphinarium. As far as zoos go, the animals here are very well treated.

Zoo Aquarium De Madrid, Madrid Reviews
Very big, well laid out and pleasant zoo, plenty to see and do, lots of animal displays throughout the day, good for all ages, but there is a lot of walking involved, hardly any steps but those with elderly persons or young children may consider wheelchair/pushchair. Contrary to other reviews regarding the food on site, slightly expensive, but expected at this sort of place, i found it acceptable, and filling. Would visit again 😁
The Dolphin show actually made me cry it was so beautiful! A total must see for anyone who is planning to go! The animals are extremely awesome and there are so many, it's gonna takę a few long hours to see everything, so its a full fun day. Also the restaurant!! I was super surprise by how fresh and large the meal portions are! U choose a drink, a dessert, a first plate and a second plate! Its so great!!!
This is a great zoo with a lot of animals to see, food areas including proper restaurants and Picknick areas where you can eat your own food. It is good to come in August as there won't be as much people there but due to the heat, the animals won't be that active. The metro stops around 900 meters away from the zoo. Great experience
Enjoyed this zoo with our three year old. We had an umbrella stroller we brought. If you don't have one, they do offer cute car/strollers to rent. Baby elephants we're adorable and very active both in the water and running around. Spent an entire day here and wore out our kiddo.
Very disappointing visit. Last time I went, probably 10 years ago, it was far better: more animals, better looked after, better and cheaper services. This time no cafes opened before 13h and most of the vending machines were out of order. The animals are still in the mostly concrete enclosures of the 1970s with very little apparently being done to bring the zoo up to current European standards. The aquarium was good.
