  • This temple is one closest to my home. We love playing on the temple roof. It was really a remarkable temple with good architecture. Devoted and honored to Sri Maha Vishnu. This temple have separate places to raise cows and elephants. This place is Blessed with spiritual energy.

  • Very Old and Good Temple. But the main thing is display board and information also needs to be there in English and Hindi, it is available in only in regional language as of now

  • Nice perumal temple. Do not miss to go upstairs in the temple. You are allowed to go up inside the temple gopuram to have dharshan of lord.

  • A beautiful bustling divyadesam of Mahavishnu.. do not confuse with Alagarkoil Divyadesam ( Kallalagar temple ) few miles away .. Koodal Algar temple is very near Madurais Periyar Bus Stand and Railway station.. The greatest Vaishnavite shrine in Madurai city. Temple is big . There are Prasadams you can buy and take home like Laddu Pongal etc from the stall in the temple . Timings 6-11.30am and 4.30 to 8pm.
