  • Part.of Divya desam - Thirukkoodal. Main deity is Sri Koodal Azhagar Perumal. Temple is built on three levels. Usually people visit floor level and leave. It is good to read about the temple before you go there. Tickets have to be purchased to visit levels 2, 3. Price is at nominal 10Rs. Second level is nice photo point, with a area of over 1000sqft and 2 staircases leading to 3rd level. Plan this for evening so you can see Madurai at night under lights. Kids will love it.
