Temple city : One of the good temple in madurai. Lot of space inside temple. Peace inside the city. Love to go.
It's an age old perumal temple. Very peaceful. Good parking for two wheelers
Peaceful temple popular for Lord Vishnu in three postures as Sitting, Standing and Sleeping. They charge Rs 10 for viewing the Standing and Sleeping Vishnu idols. The Sitting Vishnu is present in main garbhgruh. Goddess Laxmi temple is also present in the same temple complex. The surrounding areas are quite crowded rarely has parking space.
The only temple where you can witness all three positions of lord Perumal
