Rovere Palace is one of the few fifteenth-century palaces in Rome, together with Palazzo Venezia. The construction of the palace was started in 1480 by cardinal Domenico Delle Rovere, a relative of Pope Sixtus IV Delle Rovere. This massive facade building has a tower on the northeast corner. Typical Renaissance architecture, beautiful structure and interesting walls, this palace has some uniqueness. The interior has a court on two levels: a lower one with a portico featuring octagonal pillars and a pit, and an upper one with gardens. The palace has a rich internal decoration. The most notable interior is of Semi-Gods ceiling, a gallery of mythological and allegorical figures painted in 1501.
