Connaught Peak in the Old Mahabaleshwar Road is the second highest peak in Mahabaleshwar. This peak was formerly called as Mount Olympia. In 1880, the Duke of Connaught visited this fabulous spot and he was so inspired by the grandiose of the peak that he renamed the peak with his name. After that Mount Olympia became called by the name Connaught Peak. Situated at an altitude of 1400 meters this peak is a favorite destination of riders. Besides its challenging treks and rides, this peak offers stupendous views of thx`e entire Mahabaleshwar valley. Krishna Valley, Kamalgadh, Elphinstone Point, Torana, Pratapgad Ajinkyatara and Venna Lake look marvelous when viewed from the top of this peak.

  • Decent place, it's isolated but the view is good. Just good for a picture. You won't get anything else here. The route to the peak is a bit tricky so be careful.

  • This place is closed, there is no view from here, its all surrounded with trees and there's a wired fencing. Do not waste time coming here. I was the only tourist up there, all alone.

  • Such a beautiful place. Here we confused either a point or just a forest or horror place but when we actually visit it from top view love it.

  • Going up the peak is fun.. but nothing g much at top. Enjoy the surrounding.

  • Nice place to view Mahabaleshwar from top... thriller experience. But not develop..small parking. While going there you feel risky...plan your visit early on the day because it is the place with less visitors. Some time it's look like you are only visitors here and you may confused about its existence.
