About Echo Point, Mahabaleshwar
Named after the lovely daughter Kate of Sir James Malcolm, an authority of the British raj, this point is also known as Echo point. The geographic location and structure of the hills results into a total reflection of sound resulting into an extremely clear echo.
Get to the cliff of this 1290 heighted hilltop and speak your heart out. The reverberations are incredible and you will then know why the daughter Kate loved spending her day at this point.
The point also offers spectacular view of the Krishna valley and the Dhom dam. The peaks of Kamalgarh and Pavangarh are also visible from this point. Also, visit the popular attractions in the city by following Mahabaleshwar Itinerary 3 Days.

This place is one of main attractions of mahableshwar. This place is beautiful you just have to visit it in November. If you visit in rainy season and if you are lucky to reach the place the what you see is heaven. I would suggest this place to have visit
One of the mostly visited place in Mahabaleshwar by the tourists. As the nsme suggest, we were hardly able to hear echo from the valley. That might be becouse of lots of people trying at the same time or might be due to whether conditions. Anyhow, it was an enjoyable place. Please note, parking here is really a matter of your patience.
Only good nature view but don't expect to hear any echo 😅
