Salcedo Saturday Market, Makati City Reviews
Very nice market ! Definitely worth a visit if you are in town. It has a huge assortment of food, fresh vegetables & meat/fish coming from the farms. It is also a great place to eat so better come with an empty stomach. There are some nice handicraft stand & wood pieces. I will also recommend to come in the morning since in the afternoon the heat can be taught & it tends to get very crowded. Operino get time from 7am-2pm most of the stands.
Good food and better variety,t he prices are reasonable as well. Best time to go is when it opens as the crowd builds and it gets quite warm as the day progresses. Seating may be a challenge, too so it's best to have a companion every time you visit.
One of the best bazaars in Metro Manila! Find anything from fresh organic fish, meat, and veggies, to ready-to-eat food, and even plants and flowers! There are a lot of great finds here that you can't find anywhere else. Definitely a great place to look into when you're around the Salcedo Village area.
Good place to buy new or rare finds. I usually go there to grab a kale juice and samosas for breakfast. They have myriads of offerings like grilled foods, middle eastern foods, asian foods, vegetables, fish, and breads among others.
Thriving market, good quality produce. Wide selection. Good for brunch. I get my my fruit & fish there most weekends. ORGANIZERS should insist that all vendors selling produce by weight have electronic scales with weight & cost displayed facing the buyer. Overall visiting Salcedo Market is something I look forward & am rarely disappointed.
