A very easy to miss church, owing to its location amidst thick foliage, the Ekklisia Zoodochos Pigi is this tiny church, that can actually be a very interesting place to visit. It was constructed during the Byzantine-era and lies five kilometres outside the village of Pigi. It has a very characteristic square shape, there’s no dome unlike other churches, thus enhancing its distinct characteristics.
