The ‘lady with one arm’ as it was christened because of the lack of a tower, Malaga cathedral is nonetheless a glorious example of the church’s riches in that period. The amalgamation of baroque and renaissance styles makes for a visual treat for the visitor. Stunning mahogany and cedar woodwork makes this church a beautiful example of Spanish craftsmanship.
Worth noting are the finely carved statues of saints and the rich interiors of the church. The museum at the cathedral is full of interesting items that date back to early times. The gardens and courtyard of the cathedral are an absolute delight as well.
