First as a father’s loving gift to his son and then as a befitting residence to the President, this palace has served many purposes over the year. It was built in the year 1906. After the Sultan was overthrown in 1936, his grand gift to his son became government property. The building itself is a sight for sore eyes with its colonial architecture and carvings.
