Requiring you walk quite a lot towards the north for a better access, the Dan Blocker Beach is long and narrow. Owing to its shallow shores, the waves are not too big. So, do not come here with aspirations of great water sports. In fact, is popular as a “view beach spot.” the drawback of this barely-here beach are its very expensive parking charges when you are expecting none! Spend time, if you enjoy simply looking at the ocean from afar.

Dan Blocker Beach Reviews & Ratings

  • One can't get down to the beach here. I remember Dan Blocker, Hoss, from Bonaza when I was a kid. I remember my mom and dad talking about him drowning. I assumed it was in this area?

  • Great rest stop spot. Clean bathrooms

  • Yea but there's no beach tho.. lol.... only a small parking lot... but nice view!

  • Beautiful view and picnic tables; no access to the beach itself.

  • The water was very murky and cold. However that didn't stop my family from enjoying the waves and 'privateness.'
