One of the best places for recreation in Malibu, the Malibu Pier is filled with super fun opportunities. Whether you want to eat, shop or not do either, just being at the Pier in a magical experience in its ow. Stroll around the ramp or choose a cosy spot and watch the sun go down, maybe even pot a shark and of course you can never deny the possibility of bumping into a movie star here. Malibu Pier Reviews & Ratings
Malibu is a great place to come and relax. On a hot day, you can cool off on the beach. It is also a good place to people watch. Malibu is one of the fancier parts of Los Angeles as well, so there is good shopping here. Please be aware that traffic in this area can be a challenge.
I totally love this moment! We sat on the rocks facing the sea, not far from the famous bridge to admire the waves. Just chilling. You will find some restaurants around, even for small budgets. Jack in the Box is behind the parking (be careful not for vegetarians :(...). There are two public toilets (not very clean by cons) above the rocks. Also a nice place to discover and for photoshoot under the bride!
Beautiful, but parking is about $10. Weekdays are less crowded. Very cute country style restaurant at front of pier and a fancier one with 2 levels and great views is at the end of pier. You can actually fish there and many catch beautiful crab and fish. Also watching the surfers there too, is a daily thing.
The pier stretches some ~100yards/meters into Pacific ocean which on a good day can give you great views and incredible sunsets,There is a restaurant,I didn’t try their food and a expensive gift shop at the end. There is great retro feel of 60-70s California in that area because of old sign and boutiques that seems to been there for a while, parking can be hard on a good day. The beach is rocky and popular among surfers 🏄🏻
When I walked down the pier I noticed that most of the people were from different countries and every body seemed happy. Nice weather and pelicans working for snacks.
