Malibu Pier - Review

One of the best places for recreation in Malibu, the Malibu Pier is filled with super fun opportunities. Whether you want to eat, shop or not do either, just being at the Pier in a magical experience in its ow. Stroll around the ramp or choose a cosy spot and watch the sun go down, maybe even pot a shark and of course you can never deny the possibility of bumping into a movie star here. • Nice afternoon out, lovely beach. We killed some time on the pier and beach while waiting for our reservation at Malibu Farm restaurant (which is worth a visit). Being from the UK it is a little strange to have a pier that is not connected to a town but the beach was lovely and we got to watch a surf competition. There are some cute shops and the view is stunning.

  • Shop at the end of pier is pricey ($675 for designer overalls), but the walk on the pier was nice with minimal crowd on a weekday. We paid to park north of the pier for $8. South side, and closer to pier was $10. Guessing weekends cost more. We did not eat there but ordered from express window - service Sucked, they were clueless about coffee, not helpful at all. If u like cold brew - theirs was among the worst I've ever had. Ironically, my daughter loved their Kale Apple juice.

  • Not as great as I expected, but it was beautiful. So calming and peaceful. The beach was exceptionally clean as well. Only thing I really had an issue was that I was unfortunately carrying my baby on me and could not get down onto the beach easily from the sidewalk. Not sure if there was another area where there was a made path.

  • Super fun place to visit with friends, family, or a date! Beautiful views, and fun to watch the surfers. You can walk out the pier and get a good look at the ocean, and occasionally see seal lion!! Such a classic California location, great for photo shoots and video shoots as well. Great food options nearby, especially if you love seafood!!

  • Not five stars due to the parking cluster! But once on the pier, you have a high end hip food option with a very convenient walk-up-n order ice cream and coffee window. We both agreed that their peanut-butter and Chocolate Vegan Ice cream was possibly the best vegan cream we've ever had.
