Zuma Beach, Malibu Reviews - Write a Review
Wide Sandy Beach, far enough north that water quality is good. Great surfers waves, lots of lifeguards and occasionally a well known and famous rip current. As pretty a jewel as any beach in Hawaii.
Come back to this beach every year. Clean, not over crowded, well maintained, nice facilities. Worth the 10 bucks if you are staying more than a few hours otherwise you can park along the 1 or even at the parking meters if you'll only be there an hour our two.
Parking lot was very close to the ocean but parking cost $15. Nice and clean. No shells if you are on the hunt. Not too crowded. And there are restrooms but they ran out of toilet paper at 3pm. Also there is a restaurant named FOOD. Catchy name.
This is your average Beach that gets pretty crowded on weekends and doesn't really have much to look at other than the beach. If you want some rocks go to free Zuma or Zuma zero as it's known. If you want less of a crowd then go to the far north part of the Zuma near lifeguard station 13 to 17. Parking is $15, a bit pricey. There is street parking along side Pacific Coast Highway but it gets filled up pretty fast and there is a big step down between the street level and the beach parking lot so not good for those finding it difficult to hop down a level. It is a nice Beach for jogging however and people watching
Very clean beach with active lifeguard posts placed at regular intervals. Watching them watching me was a good feeling :) Nice restrooms w shower. Free parking along PCH.
