Founded in 1995 at 8000 feet above sea level this brewery is the highest on the west coast of the USA. The main beers to check out at the tasting room here are the Double Nut Brown porter and the Real McCoy Amber Ale. They also serve a pilsner, IPA, and double IPA year round. And of course like any self -respecting craft brewery they have a splendid selection of seasonal beers. They allow pets, and serve root beer for the young ones. There’s some casual food too. You’ll be leaving your Mammoth Lakes experience incomplete if you leave without visiting their tasting room.

Mammoth Brewing Company Reviews & Ratings
I can’t visit Mammoth without stopping at this awesome brewery! Staff is quick and friendly. The beer is always good. Check out the seasonal list it’s full of gems. And, if you don’t drink they have the best root beer ever! No argument. They have seating inside and outside. Great place for groups. Dogs. Kids. Would highly recommend stopping by.
You basically can’t go to Mammoth without stopping at Mammoth brewing. Their location is prime. The beers are good, the seasonal were my favorite and food is okay. The outside area is awesome and full of sun and yes they are dog friendly on their outside patio.
The Korean sandwich was new on the bar menu and was very, very tasty. I had the red beer; well two red beers. Very good. I came back for my NFL game Sunday, which was on. The upstairs had know bartender and the atmosphere felt cold. Big line at the downstairs bar. Left for a better experience at Liberty sports bar.
My brothe-in-lawr and I stopped in for a light dinner, and it was delicious. I had the Korean steak sandwich. It was moist, tangy and sweet. Absolutely wonderful sandwich.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially one of the bartenders. Would like to see some kombucha on tap instead of just in cans. It would also be nice if you could pay for drinks and food at either location (bar or food line) since the wait for either location is decently long.
