  • Stop here before starting your hikes. The staff can give you current conditions. Friendly, knowledgeable folks.

  • Tons of information, maps, t-shirts and souvenirs. The volunteers and rangers are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. It's the perfect spot to stop on your first visit to the eastern Sierra.

  • Great selection of nature study guides, books, and souvenirs. The staff spent a long time helping us decide on hikes and places to visit for our family as well as what areas are closed or open this season. They taught our kids about some of the volcanic history of the region and shared some really interesting local stories.
