This location had the best price but in this case you barely get what you pay for. When we arrived around 5 pm we had to wait 20 minutes before someone found us at the front desk. There's a bell to call for service but no one was in the building to hear it. Parking is a bit cramped, so if you have a full size truck or van you'll want to come in the back. They discount for AAA which is nice and they found our online reservation without an issue. Finding our room was a different matter. There is no signage to point you in the right direction, so be aware there's a second row of rooms down the dark hallway at the top of the stairs beside the front desk. Unfortunately the room is functional and no more. The hot water took a good 10 minutes to show up which is a lot of water to waste in socal. The privacy curtains in most rooms, including ours, are flaking apart, the mattress is an old spring: creaky and a lot of motion transfer. The room itself is barely large enough to walk around the bed, let alone hold a luggage bag without tripping over it. TL; DR: old building, old beds, fine if you need to crash but don't expect a great time.
Huge room, two very wide bed as well, clean and well kept. Breakfast is simple yet sufficient. Located near town center but without the usual city crowd noise.
We came to this hotel to go skiing at mammoth, the location was great, close to a lot of food and shops as well ad being 10 minutes from the slopes. Service is good, rooms are great and clean, woikd reccomend to anyone needing a room, very reasonabky priced as well.
My wife and I were here over Father's Day weekend. Booked this Rodeway through Priceline. Smelly room, empty paint peeling "cement pond" pool, free breakfast a joke, TV non functional......the only good news is Priceline stepped up and got us out of our second scheduled night there.. Worst motel experience ever.
Not the cleanest of rooms. Found a dirty wash rag hanging in the bathroom (no joke). The breakfast was a couple pieces of bread, hard boiled eggs cut in half, some cereal, and OJ from concentrate. Should have done a bed and breakfast....
