  • Managed to grab a last minute room on Wednesday evening. The hotel is on the old side, a little run down (note the sign on the door to the parking garage is missing letters) and the walls and carpet are somewhat old but, contrary to the other reviews, it was clean. No bed bugs that I could see, staff were accommodating and let us have a free late check out at 1.00pm. Super handy fridge and microwave in room and the television had some cool channels. Conveniently located near some bomb local restaurants- if its not crazy cold it would take you five minutes to walk to at least five popular places! Free parking and wifi. Coffee all day round. No complaints.

  • The staff here is very abrasive and the customer service is poor at best. Take the low ratings for what they are. They also charge an additional 25 dollars for a pet when the Motel 6 right down the road charges no additional. I would avoid this establishment at all costs no matter how cheap it is. If you do choose to stay here good luck. You will be disappointed.

  • Not the worst place at which I've stayed, but not the best, either. Old 19" TV was horrible! AC worked well. Plus to have a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker in room. Bathroom was small, but serviceable. Carpet needs cleaning. Overall, the place is a bit shabby, but OK for 2 nights.

  • In my opinion, the only reason this Travelodge gets customers is because it is in Mammoth Lakes and it's the high season. The door to our room looked like it had been chewed on the side by a bear. The electrical outlets were few and loose. I was afraid I was going to start an electrical fire by plugging in my cell phone charger. The curtains wouldn't close all the way because the shade pulley was broken. When the people in the next room turned on their bathroom vent the noise was loud enough to keep us awake. This motel needs to be torn down and rebuilt right. Until I hear that has been done I have no intention of staying there again.

  • Faulty Towers would have been like the Ritz! The heating and electrics were not working in the first room... when we changed the electrics still were not working! It was grubby, fixes were bodged and the breakfast bar smelt like cat pee! It just seemed like no one cared for the last 20 years...
