The best time to visit Manali is during the summers when the temperatures remain warm enough to explore the surrounding beauty. The months from April to October see a maximum number of people visiting these places. However, there are people who wish to enjoy the magical snowfall of this region and thus like to visit Manali during winters.
Summers (March- June): Summers remain pleasant and warm to explore Manali. The temperatures during this phase remain between 10°C to 25°C. The days remain pleasant but the nights remain bit cold. So don’t forget to carry your woollens. This is also the time when you can try out on activities such as paragliding, rafting, trekking and mountain adventures in the Solang Valley.
Monsoons (July-August): During Monsoons, Manali receives heavy rainfall that can sometimes result in landslides. This might not be the best time to visit Manali but the hotels offer cheap stays during this time.
Winters (October- February): From the end of December end to January, Manali receives magical snowfall and the whole of the city becomes host to fresh snow. This is the best time to visit for the newly married couples and people who wish to indulge in some activities such as skiing and winter sports.
