Jagatsukh - Review

Jagatsukh is a famous tourist destination about 6 kilometers away from Manali. Known for the several small temples that are scattered all over this area, Jagatsukh is a wonderful haven for the religious mind. You can easily catch a bus from Manali and reach Jagatsukh in about 20 minutes.

The Shiva Temple is an important spot for the devotees and its construction is also a matter of great interest. It has a pyramid shape with a tower at the entrance. The Gaurishankar shrine is also pretty poplular for the tourists. Religious Hindus will find quite a few smaller temples that dot this area. They also celebrate an annual festival of sorts called Jatra. The apple orchards of this place are also an amazing experience. There is something quite satisfying about picking fruit from the trees and eating it. You will find a lot of green apple trees as well. To add to all this, Jagatsukh is also an excellent base camp for people who love trekking.
