Really enjoyed sitting outside, having brunch and sipping coffee! Reasonable prices, friendly staff and really tasty food. I can imagine it gets quite busy during lunch and breakfast, when we visited there was a wait for tables inside but none for tables outside. I had the potato hash with scrambled eggs and it was delicious. Also worth pointing out its very central yet set back from the bustle of Market Street and Piccadilly Gardens, worth a visit.
The best pancake and brunch place you will find in Manchester. A must try! The pancakes are huge and fluffy. The menu is vast and will have something for everyone. The coffee is great and you can buy beans (ground or not) to take away too. Always a bit busy but it is worth the wait!
Shared a few brunch dishes here, and spent about £10 per person on some lovely plates. I really enjoyed the simple maple and butter pancakes which were nice and fluffy but still had a little chew which was great. The beef hash eggs benedict was the other dish I had which was great, nice soft centre eggs and really rich beefy hash, on some bagels which although nice I couldn't finish after everything I ate. Mocha was great, and at pretty normal pricing, pancakes weren't too expensive and was all definitely something I'd order and eat again.
Good coffee, great bacon, PHENOMENAL eggs. I honestly haven't had eggs as perfect as I've had them at Moose. Their portion sizes are also massive. I was ravenous going in and I still barely finished my meal; the food left me stuffed for hours. We didn't have to wait too long to be served, though we did see a queue for seating beginning to emerge not long after we sat down, so I imagine the place can get very busy during peak times at lunchtime and on weekends. Ultimately, I'd you want great food that is all but guaranteed to fill you up, Moose will definitely fit the bill.
Nice place, it was always a bit crowded but waitresses found the way to bring me an empty table. Their breakfast is excellent. The portions have American sizes, I wasn't able to eat half of a Double Dutch, such a waste for that great breakfast. Coffee was good, their Earl Grey tea was phenomenal. I didn't feel safe though because there were a few guests wearing burqa.
