  • I cannot recommend this café enough, I wish I could give it 10 stars! The food is amazing and there is so much choice! The staff is so friendly and welcoming! Basically the tastiest food for a very good price! I only stayed two days in Manchester but this is definitely my favourite place for breakfast/lunch! Will definitely be back in the future!

  • The food and the coffee were amazing, full-on American. Not the healthiest place, but great to take your US-loving date or friend. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service despite the place being absolutely full with a 10 person waiting queue outside! Highly recommended.

  • At best an average restaurant. Food comes in huge portions but the quality is not there. Cheese pancakes were stodgy and barely had any cheese in them. The other ingredients such as the waffles, nachos and 'refried beans' were shop bought. However, prices are very low so this is definitely a case of quantity over quality. We found the waiters very grumpy and unaccommodating. We wanted to switch out bacon for potato hash from a pancake dish as two in our party were vegetarians. We were told they cannot substitute due to the pricing structure of their menu; since when is potato more expensive than bacon? In the end we had to remove the bacon and add the potato hash on as an extra which makes no sense. Having run a kitchen myself, this is just a stingy tactic as the markup on potato is much higher than on bacon. This restaurant is stuck 10 years in the past and needs to catch up with the rest of modern Manchester.

  • As an American living in Greater Manchester, I can honestly say this restaurant is about as close as it gets to the breakfast style back home. I’ve been twice now, and food and service were excellent on both occasions. I didn’t think it could be done outside the States, but you make a nice plate of grits.

  • Really enjoyed sitting outside, having brunch and sipping coffee! Reasonable prices, friendly staff and really tasty food. I can imagine it gets quite busy during lunch and breakfast, when we visited there was a wait for tables inside but none for tables outside. I had the potato hash with scrambled eggs and it was delicious. Also worth pointing out its very central yet set back from the bustle of Market Street and Piccadilly Gardens, worth a visit.
