  • The Irish breakfast wasn't any better than I could have cooked myself which made the price feel a bit steep at 9 quid, it was a bit bland tasting. White pudding was tasty though. Filter coffee was good. Reasonably quick service.

  • I went along for the lego club they've started running which sounded a bit silly but fun. I ordered the grilled cheese with wild mushrooms and truffle. Sounds great. It wasn't great. I love cheese but there really wasn't much flavour to it at all. A huge blob of melted rubber on tasteless white bread isn't really something I'd pay £7 again. This coupled with rude service means it's my first 1 star rating. I'm not going again!

  • Basic but incredible full English breakfast. Lovely staff too! All round gorgeous spots for a meal and some good vibes.

  • Always a treat. Staff are friendly and service is quick. Love the veggie breakfast and that it comes with a free tea/coffee. Feel like the prices are slowly creeping up and am wary of it becoming out of my price range. Please keep it affordable, you're so busy. And extra haloumi could be £1 or £1.50 not £2.50...that's the price of a whole block! :)

  • Trendy Mancunian take on the greasy spoon breakfast. Koffee Pot is a good breakfast venue, it's that simple. A fashionable venue in the Northern Quarter before others followed suit. They offer a wide variety of breakfasts from full English (and Scottish - haggis is awesome) as well as build your own dishes and more adventurous items (kippers for example are delicious). The house special is an alcoholic morning shot called a pickleback. It has the remarkable ability to wake you up and get you hammered simultaneously. Staff are great albeit somewhat disorganised. What really sells this place though, is the quality. The meats and ingredients used are selectively sourced and really top notch. The bacon and salt beef in particular are superb. They offer a wide variety of vegetarian options also. If you've had a tough night and need a good wake up breakfast, give this place a try.
