Established in 1779 as a statute to Jamaica Assembly, Bath Botanical Garden is a popular destination in Jamaica. This is considered to be the oldest in the island. The botanical garden came into existence for both economic as well as recreational purpose. There were many medicinal plants planted inside this botanical garden. Visitors mostly used to visit Bath Botanical Garden for the special Bath Mineral Spa which is considered to be very relaxing. The foreign plants planted inside the garden marks as an attractive feature for the garden. Fruits like Cinnamon, Jackfruit and many more are also planted inside this garden.
