The Zegyo Market is the oldest market in Mandalay- founded during the reign of King Mindon in the 1860’s.
In 1990’s, the market spread across 12 acres was taken down to construct the present day shopping mall. Stop by here to shop for local produce, fabric, jewelry, gem stones, handicrafts, gold leaves, souvenirs and art pieces. If you know how to bargain, don’t forget to buy some gold plated souvenirs for a steal!
