Pilikula Nisargadhama - Review

The Pilikula Nisargadhama is a huge eco-educational and tourism project under the supervision of the Dakshin kannada and is promoted by them in the city of Mangalore in Karnataka. It is an integrated theme park with wide range of features including educational and sports and entertainment. There is also a tropical forest, boating facilities, waterpark, biological-park, science center, golf course and a lot more. The other main attractions are the heritage village and the ayurvedic therapy center.

The heritage village model set up here is an example of the rich tradition of the artisans of Kannada which include pottery, handloom, cane and bamboo products, carpentry, Blacksmiths, wood carving, stone carving, toddy jiggery, oil processing, beaten rice, fish net weaving and jasmine culture. The village also has conserved places that were there during the old times when these works used to be the only profession of the people.

This water theme park which is also a science centre, animal park, golf course and boating area is worth visiting in Mangalore. Also, visit the popular attractions in the city by following Mangaluru Itinerary 3 Days.

Pilikula Nisargadhama, Mangaluru Reviews

  • A perfect biological park! It has so wide range of wildlife. The snakes, Asiatic lion and Bear were my favorite.🤗 The ticket costs Rs 40-60 per person. (I'm not sure....I just forgot.) Children as well as adult will love it. Also rides are available to just sit and have a look around the park. It has additional fare. A perfect family time 💓

  • Best biological park in manglore. Which is very vast that you need to walk more than 2 km. The best part is you can see tiger without cage. There are many animals that you can see too. While our visit we came to see the science exhibition center, A water theme park and also a lake was there. Its a good place for an evening walk and also for hangouts in the weekends.

  • A very good maintained park. Had a great time in the zoo. Variety of animals, birds, reptiles, etc. Children enjoy the most. There is a small tea and juice counter inside. It has been kept clean. Request the people who visit to keep it clean. You have to pay small additional fees if you are taking camera inside.

  • Amazing science Center. A must visit with school children. Never seen such an exciting science center. There's a planetorium as well, kids would love it. Origin of universe is explained in it's most simplest form. There's a zoo, water games, vintage house. A perfect place for a weekend family outing. You can take a combined (all in one) ticket and enjoy all the places. It would take an entire day to cover the park. The science research center itself needs around 2 hours. The creativity and presentation is amazing. We in our 20's were so attracted towards the experiments. Kids would have a great time and be drawn towards science for sure. Do visit if you are visiting mlore!

  • Nice place to visit with family and friends. It takes an hour to cover the entire zoo. Well maintained place. The place can be improved. Variety of wild animals, birds, reptilian species you can see here.
