Mannheim Palace, Mannheim Reviews
Absolutely beautiful castle / University with an old chapel and lots of the Artwork Like the ceiling decorations still in tact in the regular student classrooms. The center part is a museum with a 3 story library on top. Worth a visit and great place to study at with an open minded and culturally diverse student body. I highly recommend the castle festival that's held once a year at the beginning of the fall semester.
We couldn't see too much of the palace because it were closed, but the guide were really great, and the palace is breathtaking.
Wonderful castle. It's home of Germany's most prestigious Business School: University of Mannheim. However, while striving through the yards and enjoying the multinational atmosphere with students from all over the world there is also a museum and the possibility to rent the great hall for festivities. Frequently, academic events are hosted here. The Mannheim Baroque Castle definitely is one of Mannheim's top go to motives and a must see in this city.
Most impressive palace. Although almost completely destroyed in 1943, its reconstructed state leaves one in awe of the amazing craftsmanship that went into it in the 18th and then again in the 20th century. Image is of the adjacent palace chapel.
It's a nice place to spend about 2 hours and the audio guide is highly detailed
