Willow Point Park Reviews & Ratings

  • This park was not as crowded as some of the other parks and now I know why. There was so much duck/goose poop you seriously couldn't take your shoes off and walk through the grass without stepping on poo. There were a couple tables and a bench or two, and the trees provided shade. The bathrooms were clean. It was odd that there were stairs down to the water but there wasn't a beach. The stairs lead directly into the water. It was nice that there was a roped off area for the littles to stay in, but if you wanted to sit by the water it's not gonna happen. You had to sit on a rock that was partially covered with water or stand in the water. The bank was directly behind you, so it had absolutely no room. Side note: I looked at some of the other pictures posted of this park, and it appears to have a beach. The level of the lake must have been up when we visited because there definitely was NOT a beach.

  • Great swimming hole. Nice park

  • Secluded park, but has recently seen more visitors. On hot, summer days, parking is usually difficult to find unless you show up early (before 11am). The park is mainly on a hill, so prepare to get a light exercise as you walk to and from your car.

  • Just a perfect place. Water. Beautiful Beach. Playground for the kids. Well maintained and lots of flowers. Went here last year and came back this year. This smaller park is on a steep hill, plenty of parking. The only bummer is that because of their being one trash can far from the beach people are being lazy and leaving trash by the water. PLEASE leave places better than you found them.

  • It might be more crowded on the weekends but during the week there aren't many people. We love going here compared to other parks.
