Tunduru Botanical Gardens is situated in the downtown Maputo in Mozambique. These gardens were constructed in the year 1885 and has the statue of the first president of Mozambique, Samora Machel, among many other amenities. Designed by Thomas Honney, these gardens provide a shady retreat on a hot, sunny day. You can visit the garden and spend a few hours in peace and quietude here. There is also a tennis court, a parking bay and restrooms available here.

The Tunduru Botanical Gardens is open between 09:00 am - 06:00 pm every day. The gardens are not very big, so it should take you around 1 hour to explore the area.
