This commune of just under 18000 people is famous for one reason - The Ferrari Factory and the Ferrari Museum. The factory has been around since 1940. The land around the town is pretty - Full of farms, dairies and wineries. Today it earns a nice economy on the back of Ferrari tourism. Most people don't come here to stay though. It is usually a town for short day trips, and people return to Modena to spend the night. The town is the home of Ferrari S.P.A. and the Scuderia Ferrari Formula One racing team. The city is also the starting point of the Italian Marathon.
