This beautiful beach is host to another guest–the sea turtle. This is basically their nesting ground, and though they take up very little of the beach’s total space, the City makes sure that human activity does not disrupt their activities. That said, walking the beach early in the morning is one of the favourite activities for all those who visit here. The beach, which is small, is also very calm – it’s likely one of the most peaceful places you’ll find here. Just in front of the beach you’ll find a small and grassy park, and a clean public washroom. There’s also a playground and a kayak launching area. Parking is not a problem.

  • Do not mess with the turtles. The city is highly protective of them.

  • The beach closes at dusk.

  • Damn ice cream truck music, 20 minutes non stop, so I left. I am going to find out how THAT law reads. Beach is nicely done since the storm though. About 2/3 is open and there is a much better beach feel to it, Except for the DAMN Ice Cream music.

  • A beautiful beach with tons of parking! Most of the time even at chest deep you can still see your feet. The bathroom facility was nice and clean in the morning after a day of use people started to trash it. But parking is so plentiful that it makes it such a breeze to come to. The outdoor showers have good pressure to

  • A nice beach that is free to the public. A bathhouse, picnic tables and volleyball courts are available. There aren't many free beaches in the Keys because the state runs the nicest beaches for profit. Check out the sunsets, spectacular!

  • Soft sand, blue water. Very nice beach compared to what I'm used to up in the Northeast. I was here in the off season, so it wasn't that crowded, but it was still mid 80's and wonderful. Very clean as well, I don't remember seeing any garbage on the beach at all.

  • The nice place for weekends. You can make barbecue, take sun showers, enjoy views. Also this place doesn’t have shower after swimming (we didn’t find)
