There’s only one way to see the famous turtles here. You must take the 90 minute guided tour. It doesn’t sound like much, but the brilliant organisers and managers of this working hospital have squeezed every possible moment of goodness into those 90 minutes. An introductory film will prepare you for your tour, and then a highly knowledgeable tour guide will take you to meet the actual animals. It’s an incredible amount of fun – and a must do for any kids you’ve got. A lifelong awareness and concern for the environment could begin here. As for what you see on the actual tour itself… well, we’re not going to spoil that.

  • So many turtles to see! If your plans in Key West are ruined by rain, then stop by here. They give yours rain or shine and have a fairly extensive facility hosting multitudes of turtles based in an old motel. They will provide ponchos if it rains.

  • Was a very educational experience, staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Would highly recommend checking it out and would go back again. We adopted one of the sea turtle's for my niece.

  • AMAZING place with such caring people. What they do for the turtles is heartwarming! The tour is informative and our guide was GREAT throughout the entire tour. I highly recommend visiting!

  • Very cool experience. You get to see the turtles up close and personal (don't touch!) which is pretty eye-opening, especially when you see the damage we do. Remember; you're in their house when you're on the ocean. Be respectful!

  • While the content of the tour offered was great and very informative, the hostess sped through it (like she had obviously done it a million times before and was just going theough the paces). The turtles were amazing and we will be doing what we can to help the effort.
