The Great Mosque of Mardin is very important for all Muslims mainly because it conserves a part of Abraham’s beard. He was a prophet who belonged to the family of Hazrat Muhammad directly. The mosque looks amazing from outside and also a separate women’s chamber. The majestic walls and that ancient look make it grand. The roof of the mosque is from where you can get a marvelous view of the whole Old Midyat City, which looks heavenly. Apart from all these, the place is very peaceful and refreshing.
