Remember, this is a farm, not a zoo, so don’t expect jungle and monkeys. The animals are traditional farm animals (dogs, cats, rabbits, sheep, chicken, goat, ducks, turkeys), with a few more exotic animals thrown in (kangaroos, llamas, ostriches and alpacas). The attraction is almost entirely children-oriented. Here, it’s all about the petting, the feeding and the cuddling.

You get to take part in bonus activities if you actually stay over at the farm for the night, such as pony and tractor rides. Check out the overnight arrangements, facilities and prices on the attraction website.

• Animal food to be fed to the animals has to be bought separately from the farm for about AUD 3.

• Bottle feeding is 10am-4pm.

• You’ll have to drive to here. It's located just outside the city, to the north-west.
