About Sunflowers Animal Farm, Margaret River

Remember, this is a farm, not a zoo, so don’t expect jungle and monkeys. The animals are traditional farm animals (dogs, cats, rabbits, sheep, chicken, goat, ducks, turkeys), with a few more exotic animals thrown in (kangaroos, llamas, ostriches and alpacas). The attraction is almost entirely children-oriented. Here, it’s all about the petting, the feeding and the cuddling.

You get to take part in bonus activities if you actually stay over at the farm for the night, such as pony and tractor rides. Check out the overnight arrangements, facilities and prices on the attraction website.

Sunflowers Animal Farm Ticket Prices

  • Animal food to be fed to the animals has to be bought separately from the farm for about AUD 3.

Sunflowers Animal Farm, Margaret River Reviews

  • Great venue for children to get up close and hand feed the animals. We were lucky to be part of feeding two young orphan joeys .... Not overpriced and the grandchildren have their own pass to have frequent visits... Playground on site perfect to finish off the morning ...staff very friendly .

  • $13.50 per adult & kids over 2. Money well spent if you ask me, the kids loved it! $3 per 4l bucket of food to feed the animals. We spent an hour there feeding the goats/ ducks/chickens/horses/pigs/kangaroos and many more kid friendly farm animals.

  • Great staff, well kept and great fun for kids. Good place to visit

  • Nice place for kids to get up close to animals. Pony ride for kids was good the 1st day when a young lady led the pony, but on the 2nd day, farmer Jones led the pony and was insistent that my wife can't hold on to my 3 year old daughter while she was on the pony. It resulted in my daughter crying as she didn't have the confidence and had to stop the ride... Otherwise my daughter had great fun with the other animals but she probably won't want to ride a horse again...

  • Love this place! Lots of Super friendly animals who want to say hello to you, and you get to feed them all.. Fun for all ages (parents almost seem to be having as much fun as the kids)! Open on Sundays. Will definitely be going back!
