Sunflowers Animal Farm - Review

Remember, this is a farm, not a zoo, so don’t expect jungle and monkeys. The animals are traditional farm animals (dogs, cats, rabbits, sheep, chicken, goat, ducks, turkeys), with a few more exotic animals thrown in (kangaroos, llamas, ostriches and alpacas). The attraction is almost entirely children-oriented. Here, it’s all about the petting, the feeding and the cuddling.

You get to take part in bonus activities if you actually stay over at the farm for the night, such as pony and tractor rides. Check out the overnight arrangements, facilities and prices on the attraction website.

  • My toddler loved it. Great place to spend a couple of hours. Friendly staff. Easy 10 min drive from Margaret River. Also has a playground but more appropriate for older kids like preschoolers and up due to drops etc.

  • Loved it! Great for families or if you just want to spend time with the animals for a couple of hours. All the animals are friendly and love to be interested with, definitely recommend if you are down this way!

  • Really enjoyed our visit. Loved the variety and how close you can get to the animals. Great for kids!

  • Wonderful farm stay for families with young children! My little ones thoroughly enjoyed themselves everyday they were there! Scheduled activities on the farm were well informed (tractor rides, bottle feeding, egg collection and pony rides). Bottle feeding and tractor ride was especially exciting for the children(:D There's was also a folder in the room introducing the Farm and places to visit or eat at around the area. In between the scheduled activities guests are free to go about the farm area and each child gets a bucket of feed to go about feeding the various animals:) For guests who aren't staying in the farm feed buckets can be provided for a small fee. Children loooooved those feed buckets and feeding the animals! Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Ouh and there's Wi-Fi for those of us who need to stay plugged into the world (myself included). Well provisioned kitchen for cooking those fresh farm eggs(:d Furnace for the cold months and heated water too. Laundry facilities also available. Enjoyed our stay and hope to return! Keep it up Sunflowers! Our stay was really memorable.

  • Heaps of fun even tho weather wasn't the best. Animals are well looked after. Kids loved it!
