Established in 1968, the Hardap National Park, or the Hardap Recreation Resort as it is now called, surrounds the Hardap Dam on Fish River. On a visit to Hardap National Park, make sure you take part in angling, the most famous recreation activity for visitors to the Park. There is a hiking trail running through the Park which you can take to explore the area and watch the local wildlife, birds and plant species.
