Located in Peterborough, the Rectory is one of the great attractions in the city. Whoever has an interest in history and architecture would definitely stop at this place. It is said that this place served as a refectory, dormitory or infirmary of the old Priory. It was built in the 14th century and later it had been renovated many times in the 15th and 16th centuries. The building is built of limestone and you will find off-center gabled porch, the inner doorway with continuous decorated moldings, all together standing as a unique piece of architecture. The arches at the front door were built in the 15th century.
