Kanawha City Community Center in Marmet is a recreation and sports center. Located on the Venable Avenue, this center is built for the community people of Marmet to help them stay active. The center has eight outdoor tennis courts, outdoor basketball court and a large playground area for the kids. The center mainly remains busy during summer times, as local softball women team comes for practice. The center provides entry on a first cum first basis and especially favours its members. Kanawha City Community Center also has indoor game facilities which include ping pong table, pool table and many other games.
