Marysville Tourism

Marysville is the administrative capital of Yuba County. It is located in the Gold Country region of Northern California, USA. The city, which has a total population of around 12,000 (as of the 2010 census), is also part of the Yuba-Sutter area, which is located in Greater Sacramento, Northern California, United States. Marysville was initially incorporated in 1851 and was home to many Chinese Americans, who were forcibly driven out of their homes between 1870 and 1900. And as of today, the city covers a total area of 3.6 square miles, experiencing a hot, Mediterranean climate throughout the year. As a result, flooding has been a significant concern for the city for multiple years. Regarding transportation, Marysville is served by two highways, the Yuba County Airport, the Yuba Sutter Transit bus service, and the Southern Pacific Passenger Railway System. Additionally, the city houses 15 different parks and multiple architectural styles that contribute to its arts and culture.
