Edgewood Oak Brush Plains Preserve Reviews & Ratings
45 min from NYC, pure bliss of walking or bike riding in wonderfully smelling forest. You can find a good mushrooms here too. Not crowded. No large animals (dogs mostly on leashes)
Nice MTB trails. Could have better markings and maps available. Fun place to explore.
My husband and kids belong to Edgewood Flyers and use the field here. It's a beautiful preserve with great trails. Most people like to ride bicycles or walk their dogs here. You do need a permit and I recommend bug spray for ticks.
If you want to go for a relaxing walk or want to get some real exercise, this is your place.
Love this mtb trail network. Has a little bit of everything from some slo-go trails to fast flowly to technical. Can do an easy loop or go for a tiring trip taking on all 13 segments. Never see hikers or dog walkers on these mtb trails and you always feel one with nature.
