Really has had some very positive changes over the past year. New AC/Heaters in rooms. Covered parking in many places. The owner is in house and plays a better "hands on" in the daily function of the property. Getting better al the time.
Pleasantly surprised it was clean and ample and the out-dated style has it’s charm... The restaurant has improved, the food is ok and the convenience is wonderful. I don’t like or understand having only male waiters - it’s weird old world mentality, big they’re pleasant enough.
We loved this place. Clean rooms. Very nice restaurant with good food. Carports for every room.
We stopped here for a night on our way to Mexico. They had great food and a nice little room. Remember it’s a bit older and there is no refrigerator. The staff was attentive and so nice. We accidentally forgot our brand new Apple laptop in our room. They sent it to us in Mexico. I couldn’t believe it. So I would stay again.
I found a roach crawling on the fridge. I was afraid it might have bed bugs since box springs were wrapped in plastic. Curtains has not been taken down EVER, they had black dirt build up at the top. The rooms smell old. All the furniture and bedding is old. I would not stay here again. The outside premises were ok. Reminds me of a trailer park. I went to the cafe for coffee, they served me spoiled milk. What was good was the showers. Good water pressure and hot water was plentiful which is not common everywhere in Mexico. I paid $130 for 2 nights, still think the hotel should be updated at least clean the curtains!
