  • If you want to see sea turtles, it’s basically a guarantee here! I got to snorkel and swim with them as well. Looked like a great place to surf as well. Fun to walk along the beach as well. We found a sea cucumber in one of the mini tide pools along the beach. Pretty sure it’s not one of the nude beaches in Maui, but there was a topless lady sunbathing there. Our kids are pretty young, so didn’t think anything of it.

  • We really didn't have much time to explore here. We saw a number of surfers, wind surfers, and kite surfers taking advantage of the favorable winds and waves. Some of our number on the tour descended toward the rocky beach where Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles were purported to be. It was windy and I almost lost my hat. A great day on Maui.

  • Somehow over the years, the local turtles have made this beach Park their hangout. It's an amazing place to snorkel and see sea turtles. Be respectful and give the turtles their space to continue coming to this beach so that human visitors can also enjoy seeing a bit of nature. It's an awesome sight to see and the beach is great too!

  • Awesome beach with tons of sea turtles. Great waves for surfing and wind surfing as well. Busy park so parking can be hard to find at times but well worth it. Get there about 3 to 3:30 to see the most turtles.

  • There were 31 turtles at the end of the beach sunbathing in a big group. The water wasn't clear enough for qualifying as a snorkeling place but I did manage to see a turtle in the water. Mostly used by surfers IMHO. The bathrooms are clean and the showers are powerful. I liked the beach.
