Pacific Whale Foundation, Maui Reviews

  • Awesome snorkel excursion!! They give you so much knowledge, delicious food, and supply all your gear. The entire crew is so well versed in the islands, waters, and snorkeling itself. They really make sure you get to see what you want safely & explain things you may not have known before! They are funny & silly & so smart. If you're wanting to learn about local sea life, the history of islands, or just have a really fun snorkeling trip I highly recommend going through this company. They are reasonably priced, and well worth your time. Plus all proceeds go to a good cause! What could be better than that!?

  • One of the best experiences we’ve had in the US. The staff was great - funny, helpful and accommodating. The snorkeling was awesome - saw tons of reefs and wild life. And the food was really good too - banana bread and fresh fruit for breakfast, a BBQ lunch (really good) and a free drink at the end. Plus the guides give you recommendations around the island. Highly recommend.

  • I would highly recommend this group for any snorkelling trips. They are the only sustainable group (from what I understand), highly knowledgeable and educated on the wildlife & take excellent care of you. Best part is by using them you support their research & conservation efforts!

  • A wonderful experience!! Top notch service from the crew; always engaging and helpful. We did the astronomy tour; from the youngest to the oldest will love it (weather permitting). Go to the docking location, second floor (near the aquarium), and purchase directly from their retail store. They are a nonprofit, so it's also a great organization. Last advice, if you become a vip member ($75), for a family of four, you'll receive 20% off (great value for a family of four). We're here for two weeks, you'll end up doing other excursions with them :)! Enjoy

  • I went on a snorkeling trip with them. It's a great organization in that they're a non-profit and truly care about making a difference. There were 126 people on board but it didn't feel crowded until it was time to get back on the boat but no big deal. They had lifegards in the ocean and on deck. Friendly, professional, and safe. Food for breakfast was provided on the boat. Same for lunch. All the employees have college degrees and are very knowledgeable. Heading back in, one employee gathered the kids and taught them a little about marine biology. I tipped at the end and bought a photo of us. It's non-profit and worth the optional few extra dollars at the end. Please consider supporting this wonderful company and it's employees.
