Casey- the owner’s granddaughters; Marissa, Loryn and Alexandra Kanemaru were behind the design of the Shim Pure Kula Coffee label when they were just aged 7, 10 and 12. They were so serious about it that they not only involved their mother but also with the help of a graphic designer put the logo together and that is how the brand Shim Pure Kula Coffee was born in the year 2001. You can come across this signature label in many locations around Maui and spot different colored sachets all across. The best part is that more and more stores are being added locally. The personalized tour of this farm starts with a short overview of proteas, coffee and also be enlightened by the history of the Chinese in Kula.
