Massanutten Resort Reviews & Ratings

  • Beautiful, well groomed premises with many activities such as kayaking, hiking, horseback riding. Nice pools, very conveniently located barbecue grills. Some other reviewers noted dated rooms, we were happy with ours, mine requirement for it to be clean and with comfortable beds was met. We had partial kitchen and still were able to cook some light dishes for kids. Overall we were happy with our stay, rooms and premises.

  • Massanutten Resort is absolutely gorgeous. We went during the summer time and had an absolute blast. With it being so close to the Shenandoah National Park, there were plenty of opportunities to explore and hike and just have an amazing time. The resort is gorgeous we saw deer everyday, and we even saw a few black bear. The people are very very nice and they treat you very well. I will go back to Massanutten some day.

  • Just about 150 miles away from DC (3 hrs) and it is beautiful place to visit for RELAXING get weekend getaway. I love nature so I ended up buying timeshare here. I was expecting the worst for timeshare presentation but this place offers a lot. If you are looking for a vacation spot to just relax and enjoy nature, this is an awesome spot to check out. You could visit this place for free if you inquire about timeshare presentation but if you are an easy target for sales person, you might not be taking advantage of free stay.

  • Beautiful grounds! It really is a beautiful resort. We stayed at Hotel 4 and it was so gross. No hot water and really dirty and needs a serious renovation. For over $200 a night I would have been better staying at a Motel 6. Stay at the resort, just don’t stay at the Hotel 4!

  • Nice place to stay a week! I love the floor plan of the villa. It's very roomy! There are a lot of deer roaming on the property. Plus many activities to participate in.
