Youngberg Hill, Mcminnville Reviews - Write a Review

  • This is always a nice place to get away and relax. The wine is good and the view is spectacular. But what my family and I particularly appreciate is how laid back and friendly the staff and owners are. We've come here several times with kids and picniced while purchasing a couple glasses of wine. It's always felt totally natural. Other wineries around here we wouldn't even consider for that. We also really appreciate the music in the summer. And the swing! The swing and the cows are awesome. We really appreciate Youngberg and feel it is a gem in our community.

  • Came for brief tasting of a few wines. We liked the Jordan that was a few years old best! It's a cute, small vineyard that is worth stopping in to see. Great staff, great atmosphere.

  • I was here for a wedding and it was gorgeous. The staff was incredibly friendly. The wine was delicious and the venue was perfect for a wedding that involved a lot of dancing. We stayed the night at the inn and the room large and spacious with a beautiful batbroom. There was no TV, but that's okay because the view was incredible. The only negative for me was that these rooms are NOT cheap, so I was expecting that there would be a complimentary wine tasting or a free bottle of wine in our room, but there wasn't. The only thing there was was $10 off one of their most expensive ($50) bottles of wine, which was a red and the discount couldn't be used on anything else. I feel like if I'm paying $300 to stay the night at a winery, then my room should come with at least a free tasting in the tasting room. With that aside, though, it was a great experience all around.

  • The location and view are absolutely stunning. Wayne and Nicollet and their staff are amazing people. The grounds are beautiful, The Refreshments are absolutely delicious. This place is an absolute gem in the Willamette Valley

  • Stayed up here for the eclipse. Beautiful view of the surrounding area and a kind family that takes care of it. I can't comment on the wine, but the coffee was a little underwhelming for the price we payed to sit on a hill and watch the event. Nice place.
