  • I had my wedding at Youngberg Hill in October 2017 and it was an amazing. My friends and family are still talking about it and we could not have been happier. From our first email to them to the last follow up after the wedding they were easy to work with. We rented all 9 inn rooms and found that to be a great way to start and finish the wedding. The innkeeper and the whole staff were welcoming. The owner answered all our questions in a timely and easy way to help put the pieces together. We used their preferred caterer, Willabys, and they were so easy to set things up with and had such great ideas of how to manage all the details for the day of my dreams. Thank you to Nicolette and her husband Wade for opening up their estate for us. We look forward to many years of anniversary celebrations with you.

  • Gorgeous views. For a deal, it was worth the stay. Would have liked at least an alternate breakfast option vs. the preset singular choice. Lovely room, but Gamay room is noisy right off the kitchen, feet from the entry door, etc. Would recommend a room not located near entrance. Grounds are lovely. Unclear if a "tasting" is included as stated on the site or just a "taste" as was received on our stay. Would have appreciated lotion and standard amenities in the room other than the wall pump soap and shampoo in the shower. Feels like it is attempting the luxury level but missed the mark on wine in room, tasting, amenities, breakfast options, etc. Overall, lovely property, friendly staff, maybe overpriced for what you get.

  • We had our wedding here and loved this location and everything they offered. The views, the building, and the people helping were all great. We loved the flexibility that we could select our own caterer or use their preferred one, Willabys, and that we were NOT being charged per person for anything and it was all included in the site fee. The inn rooms were wonderful to use to get ready in and go to after the reception and we added cheese trays in the rooms to have before the wedding. There are some rules about inn guests going into the tasting room area and arriving early that were explained in advance but it seemed to all work because it all flowed and worked out great. Coffee & breakfast at the Inn was easy as well as checking out the next morning as all of our items were staged in one area for easy removal so we didn't need to stay late after the wedding to clean up. Youngberg Hill's wines are wonderful but my husband loves beer and they use Golden Valley Brewery so we were both happy. In the end, we all had a great day and I would recommend this place.

  • This is the 3rd time I have come to Inn. Since the last time the rooms have been updated....love what you did to the Gamay Room!! The staff were welcoming and available to help out with any needs I had at the time. I am still amazed by the view an tranquility of the area. Just what I needed for a long weekend. Can't wait to come out again.

  • STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. As the mother of the bride for a September, 2016 wedding, originally booked at Youngberg Hill, I am disappointed by the behavior of Nicolette with regards to the refund of deposit monies. Due to a lack of clarity in the original contract, supplemented by numerous email discussions between Nicolette, myself and my daughter, where Nicolette failed to provide clear answers to simple questions, my daughter reluctantly decided to terminate the contract with Youngberg Hill and look for another site for her wedding. Our agreement with Youngberg Hill requires them to make good faith efforts to re-book the site with another event, and if successful, refund the deposit monies to my daughter. Youngberg Hill refused and continues to refuse to refund the deposit. The simple facts are that my daughter cancelled her September wedding at Youngberg Hill in March of 2016. An email from a third party was sent to Youngberg Hill in May of 2016 asking if they had any availability over the Labor Day weekend of 2016. Of course they did because my daughter cancelled her Labor Day weekend wedding there in March of 2016. The response back from Youngberg Hill was that they were FULL for that entire weekend and another date, later in the month, was offered to the third party. Youngberg Hill turned away a potential client that would have allowed my daughter to get her deposit funds back. They still have her money. Shame on them. Stay clear of this place. Update - My daughter filed a suit in small claims against Youngberg Hill and won. Nicolette would have never refunded her money voluntarily even though she had no right to retain it. Like I said, stay clear of this place.
